Thanks for that i didnt know you was a member on here, but i did thank you on the other forum to a good find either way now we just need too find some more eeprom dumps etc and these should be a nice easy fix for us with all the information etc.

Yes totally agree next target is in site as have a few vestel main boards in need of firmware. I must say I was surprised how much info was available from one site that was well laid out and concise plus free

yes it would be nice too if we could keep vestel information in one thread ie common issues/schematics and eeprom/spi chip dumps with the panel info etc as it would make it easier for searches etc.

Hi friends, just notice that the Vestel schematics might be erroneous, for exemple the 17IPS20 as different versions using different IC's and fitting different TV sizes. In addition, resistor values are sometimes wrong, for example two 56K resistors are shown as source resistor on Q211 power Mosfet of supply FQPF6N80 (where current sense is drived to IC driver SG6742HR while it is a 0.33 ohm on board. Same thing for PFC driver and so on. I spent a lot of time to figure out righr values for certain resistors that were burnt on my board. Better ask to the forum for values if uncertain. Jean
