    Baird JO47BAIRD Main Board problem

    Hi,
Got another one Baird 47" with same problem.
Standby light ON (still), TV not switching on, no reaction on remote / side buttons.
Power supply looks alright, must be the main board.
    Main board CV109H V1.2
    Anyone had a similar problem?
Is there any way to fix the main board?
    Thank you for support.

When you say power supply looks OK?
Is it OK? Have you checked the output voltages?

Looks as though this set may have problems with EEPROM corruption

Re: Baird JO47BAIRD Main Board problem

does this set use one or two psu s im sure i have worked on one and it had two psu s in it.

Edit it was a Baird X47DTV i worked on so diffrent set

as above my guess mainboard issue so if a eeprom is cheap enough certainly worth a try if not look on ebay for a mainboard as long as it matches your panel you should be fine as i some times find replacement boards are cheaper than a new programmed eeprom (you can always take a copy of the working eeprom and maybe try re programming your old board and have a spare)

TV back in action after replacing the main board.
Second hand main board on eBay was cheaper then eeprom.
Thank you for your support guys.

                            Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
                            by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
                            CN6401
                            Pin 01 NC
                            Pin 02 NC
                            Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
                            Pin 04 "N/C"
                            Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
                            Pin 06 "GND": N/C
                            Pin 07 "AC_OFF"...

(SOLVED) - ONN 100012588 No Power, Then Rebooting After Main Board Change

Issue: No Power, Then Rebooting After Main Board Change

Short answer: replace main board and power board
Technical answer: replace main board and Q306 & Q307 on power board.

                            Long answer:

TV wouldn't turn on. Power switch was fine which means the main board isn't processing the power on signal. Replaced main board. TV turns on now but randomly reboots. Bad main board? EEPROM? Tried to pull main board and got a shock touching the corner of the board. That's weird. C334 (450V 10uf) capacitor is still holding a high charge....

Driving a Sharp TCON/panel with a universal main board
                            by advant
This thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.

I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match...

LG 43LJ594V main board not providing stby power
                            by edugimeno
                            I there!
I have this TV set that doesn't even light up the st by led. I fully checked the PS board and this one is fine, it provides 8.9V when Stdby and 13V when ON (forces by DRV_ON pin according to service document)

So I checked the main board and it is not able to even light up the stdby led and of course it won't obbey to ON button or remote signals

I checked all caps on board, none of them is shorted. I took some voltages at those caps, some of them have 8.9v on one side, some don't have any voltage. I see some coils and smalls IC's near banks of SMD...
