Hi there,
Just looking for a little assistance with the backlight. There is some issues with the back light on my tv so I took it all apart to get to the backlight strips. I have viewed some videos how to test the individual leds with two double aa batteries in series. Just to clarify the led strip is 30 leds long and each one is 3.1 volts as marked on the strip. It also says 94 volts per strip which makes sense with the 30 leds. Now when I try to test one led on the strip and I have confirmed the positive and negative but the led does not light up.
Is it possible that all the LEDs on all the strips were fried during some surge or issue with the power supply? Or am I missing something here?
Thanks
Tom
