This set will run for about 5 minutes then shut off and the standby light blinks 6 times then repeats. I can press the power button and it comes back on but for a shorter time. I have the service manual and in the flow chart I am supposed to check the voltage at JL2565 to determine if the bal board or tcon failed. Does anyone know where JL2565 is located since I have looked and can not find it.

Re: KDL-55hx800 has 6 blink code
I see it is a backlight error but according to the service manual I need to check the voltage at JL2565 and I just can not find that. I am pretty sure all of the led's are good since it does work for 5 minutes but without checking for 2.65V at JL2565 I can not isolate which board it might be. Anyway I have attached the service manual and page 29 is where it looks for the 2.65V.Attached FilesComment

Re: KDL-55hx800 has 6 blink code
I am back trying to fix this tv and need some suggestions/help. I have checked the voltages on cn6753, 12v reads 0v GL-Error is 24v and all vled-vcc are 24v led-on is 3.3v. cn6152 standby is 3.3v, ac det off is 3.3v, power on is 3.25v, audio 12v is 12v, t-con vcc 12v is 12v, and t-con on is 3.25v. on the led driver board all 4 vcc led test points are 34v. If I unplug cn4002 from led driver the tv will stay on and never shut off. When I disconnect the lvds cable from the balance board I get a nice white background with no dead led's in the picture, it gets a little darker and I can see a bright led bottom center. It is really pronounced when the screen turns red then shuts off. I did send the balance board in for testing and it was fine. The service manual says change the G board next which I believe is the power supply but I don't think that is it and now I am wondering if maybe the led driver or t-con might be failing. I did freeze spray the led driver board and it made no difference. Bottom line is does anyone have and suggestions? And now as I am writing this the 12v on cn 6753 reads 0v and that is most likely the problem.Last edited by nwcs; 12-21-2016, 05:46 PM.Comment

Re: KDL-55hx800 has 6 blink code
Thanks, I had also found that ant the voltage is at 3.3v so that leads to g board or tcon. at this point I am going to either order a power supply or the repair kit. Since I do not have the 12v I should be getting the 2 blink code with that missing. I am beginning to not trust the sony blink codes.Comment

Re: KDL-55hx800 has 6 blink code
Hi @nwcs, did you find the fix for your issue? Was it the power Supplu? I have the same issue but with 4 blink red lights. My tv is 46HX800 very similar to yours.
ThanksComment

by clooI recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.
So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...01-06-2025, 06:02 AM -
by rmacintoshI aquired this Panasonic 60" plasma around the time my first child was born. It was meant to be a project tv, hoping to fix it chipping away at the repair in my free time. Well that was 2 years ago and i'm really just getting around to making a sincere effort to see if I can ressurect this beast.
The symptoms of the tv ar as follows:- Plug AC in to back of TV
- After about 2 seconds the relay on the P-sub board will click on and then a fraction of a second later it clicks back off
- The 3 blink code is given by the power LED
- If the TV is unplugged and then

by reporter1979Hi all, the TV KDL-40W2000 was flashed by a lightning.
Firstly I got the 3 red blink code.
Following other threads I changed the power supply board and got always 3 blinks.
So I changed also the mainboard and now I get 2 blinks error code. Tried also with the other ps board, still getting 2 blinks.
The TV turns on for a minute or two with green led and blank screen, if I press buttons the green led blinks fast. It turns to 2 red blinking led after a while.
What else can I do?... -
by loranHi all!
I was working on my emails and suddenly the system crashed in an instant. No life sign at all. Not even power leds.
On the mainboard a mosfet was burnt (see picture) so I decided to replace the two mosfets with new AON7422G.
The part numbers are PQ300 and PQ301 (see schematics).
After the replacement the laptop shows 2 red and 1 blue blink code.
That's a cpu failure code according to Dell.
Does that mean the repair went well?
I read that a corrupt bios could be the cause for cpu failure code so I created a bios dump... - Loading...
