    Insignia IS-HDPLTV42 with screen issue

    Insignia plasma TV with a strange screen issue. The picture is very small and distorted. Is this a panel/main board or tcon issue.

    sorry I didnt take the tv apart to do inside pics. I am very busy and if it is a panel issue no sense wasting my time. Thanks in advance for any help. This is my first Insignia TV.

          funny, i am in saskatoon and used to have one of these from future shop in 2005. saw a guy on youtube who found some bad caps, maybe you could check them too? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqWqxrKE-DU

                  all waiting till you post again.you have 666 posts!
                  the small pic is likely osd box for no signal.whatever it is most likely on main.
                  caps could do this.had a really odd image defect caused by a single open cap on the 1.8v on a westinghouse.

                              I am experiencing a BIOS-related issue with my Dynabook Satellite Pro C50D-B-100. When I power on the laptop, the screen stays black, and there is no response from the system. I suspect a corrupted BIOS.

                              Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen

                              Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

                              My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

                              This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

                              HELP - Contrast/brightness issue with subtitles on screen

                              Hi everybody
                              Since day one I'm having an unpleasant contrast/brightness issue on my Asus laptop.
                              Basically while watching movies, if subtitles appear on screen, the contrast or the brightness of the entire screen increases a lot (not sure if it'is brightness or contrast), disturbing the viewing of the movie.

                              Last year I replaced my screen because got damaged and this contrast/brigthness issue persists. It happens only on the laptop screen, in fact If i plug an external HDMI screen the issue does not occour on it.

                              It occours both on ubuntu and windows...

                              Samsung UE48JU7000 screen issue after backlight replacement

                              Hi all,

                              Because of two bright spots and a couple of dark spots I decided to replace the backlights in my Samsung UE48JU7000. See attached photos:


                              I thought all went well, but after full assembly and testing it out it turns out not all is fine. The backlights are completely fine but I have some weird issues on the right half of the screen. Since I didn't really touch the T-CON board (apart from taking out the ribbons of the display and reconnecting them on assembly) it would be weird that the issue is with the T-CON board... But based on the behavior of the service...

                              Hi,

                              I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...
