    t-con board replacement part identification.

I'm in the process of ordering 2 t-con boards, and i found them, but they are from smaller tvs. One is for a 70" sharp, but the replacement is from a 60" with exact same board #, and one is a 42" sanyo, but the replacement is coming from a 40" lg, board # is also identical. Both replacement boards are identical, and have the axact same mounting holes, is there any reason that this wouldn't work? I couldnt find anything pertaining to my issue online, hope someone has some info, or has had to do this before.

Can you look them up on Shopjimmy and see if they recommend them as suitable replacements for your sets
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

Did you go to shopjimmy.com and look up the T-CON board P/N as printed on the barcode to see if there are substitutes for the original one you have?
Blank board (PCB, the white silkscreen for the PCB is printed on the board) can be stuffed to make many version of the PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) for more than one version of the LCD panel. The P/N on the barcode is the PCBA number that you should go by.

I just finished the conversation with shop jimmy, and according to them both numbers should match on the sharp model :/ but the other one will work.

LG OLED77G1PUA - No Video / Audio after a TCON Board change and Software Update
          by Hakuu
          Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
          by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

          Assuming...

Philips 65PUS8518/12 distorted image after main board replacement
          by tuner2000i
          hello everyone,

I don't normally do tv repairs but this is a case with my personal TV which got fried together with many other electronics in my house after a thunderstorm.

The TV is a Philips 65PUS8518/12 which had no power. I measured and concluded that the main board was probably fried through ethernet or hdmi. I found a board with same number 715GD328-M0F-B00-005Y (I had G) but from a 55PUS8518. The TV starts but the image is doubled, distorted. I need to set the panel code which is 016 according to the sticker on the back but I can not seem to do it.

TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board
          by howardc64
All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
          • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
          • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

Led TV Board Replacement, same part number and model, different size
          by Cvrado
          Hello my friends!
I have a question that I think you can answer and help me with!

I have a faulty main board from an led TV. And I found the same part number board and design but is from a 43" TV and I want to use it on a 65". On its stickers , all are the same except the wattage for the LEDs backlight, both state different watts and LED Voltages!

So I presume that the backlight inverter section from the replacement board has lower wattage then the original one, am I right?

My concern is that the board won't draw enough voltage to the bac...
