I am not sure if this right place to put this thread but since it is video.I thought it might be,I am looking for schematic or service manual.What happened is a had a bad power surge and it took out my dvr8-4000.I am trying to find schematic so I can try to repair it.Any help would be appreciated thanks.

May be you can show us the pictures of the board inside, especially the power supply board which more likely to be made by an OEM so even if you find the service manual for the unit, it probably will not have the power supply diagram.
