x sustain or y sustain.....check voltages and adjust them. Also perhaps cold solder joints.

You would measure the voltage and there should be a little plastic screw on the y board you can use to adjust the voltage. Same with the x board.

Be careful adjusting the voltages with the small potmeter. It can destroy the board and even the panel.
Just measure them first and see if they match with the sticker on the panel/service manual. If they match then its probably a board or even panel failure....
I only repair Panasonic plasma tv's! Currently owning a TX-P55VT50 and still searching for a ZT60!

Also mark the side of the controls with felt tip pen so you know where the were originally. This could be your Vsus board, there are 4 white controls on the lower part of the board, they are also labeled for what they adjust. there are also test points marked for where you measure the voltage, some are measured with reference to ground and some like the VY have 2 test points on the board (in this picture, below the top heatsink and to the left are 2 test points marked "VY"
There are usually 2 adjustments marke "set up" and "set down" that you normally adjust with a scope (they adjust a waveform so a meter won't help)
they can be adjusted by looking at the speckels in the light or dark areas of the picture.

It is possible to damage the panel by having long-term high voltages, but it would be a thing that happened over the course of weeks or months. Boards could fail immediately but usually they are designed to operate correctly over the full range.,

I noticed running very high voltages on the Kuro I sold you that I got maldischarge that didn't go away for a few days afterwards (even after turning all the voltages back to the sticker), thought I might have broken it!
