Re: Coolant Leak on Mitsubishi WS-A65 CRT RPTV

Mit designed in a drip shed in the later models for this very reason. It's a rectangular open-top box made of nice thick plastic and gathers any drips before they can hit any boards.

A similar remedy I have used many times is to get a loose leaf separator made of flexible plastic and tape it - masking tape is best, it never gets gummy and lets go like other tapes - so that it will allow for ventilation while sheltering the board from any drips. Place it at a 45 degree angle above the boards with the bottom edge landing off and outside of the perimeter of the boards down below. You may need 3 of them.

Any drips will then simply hit the wood down below.

I would not try to seal the coolant in. Once its pressure relives itself, it usually doesn't leak anymore. In your case I guess the pressure is not all out of it yet.

But the drip shed idea will make gluing it unnecessary anyway.
