Hi Folks!
I have a Sony KDL-32EX301 with an LTY320AP04 Panel and I read a short across C1 (far right in first picture of panel driver board) and C2 (far left in second picture of panel driver board).
It's not either of the caps and I've attempted to find a component on the board that might be shorted to ground using a continuity meter and I have been unable to find any.
My fear is it's the panel itself. The TV was working, and then it started showing some vertical lines on the display and then shut down. Now the standby LED blinks 5 times, which apparently indicates a panel problem. The short across the caps is the likely problem. It would seem that caps of this size would be across a power supply rail, but I can't find it on the board.
Does anyone know what the caps are connected to? They're very distinctive.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
