Top notch indeed. I don't mean to bring up an old thread but this has me on my way of testing mine. I may just buy a new unit if it ends up being leds. I'm not too keen on the repair, but the journey is fun.

I know it's an old thread... but I just picked up this particular model TV with the same symptoms (actually, this is the THIRD NS-32D201NA14 that I've looked at recently***). If the original poster still has it, here's the visual documentation of the "stacking method" that was mentioned by ReeceyBurger123. The TV i just fixed had four bad LED locations as determined after checking the strip, and LEDs individually with the LED strip tester. I used Kapton tape to cover over the SMT pads after the blown LEDs were removed.

Circling back to this thread, I used this TV for 3 years on my diag bench until just recently it died again. Same symptoms. More than likely a one or more LED bulbs have died. Time to open her back up again and fix it!
