    Hitachi 22LD3750DC TV repair, white screen, problem in AUO T220SW01-V0 panel

    This TV shows all white screen, sound OK.

    Panel is an AUO T220SW01 V0, 22", 4xCCFL. I expected open T-CON power fuse, but no luck this time. Fuse is OK, and there’re 5V at test-point. Also measured 3.3V and other voltages.

    I see that after a while, some bluish smudges appear slowly on screen.

    I’ve tried to connect a ChiMei M190A1-L02 (that have the same LVDS connector) and it works, so it seems a panel problem, as expected.

    After some observation, I see that there’re about 5-6 horizontal lines of active pixels on top of screen. They contain no valid image. Seem like alternating white and black pixels.

    Anything I can do before giving up?

      Sounds like a failed tab bond driver to me. I have had this before on similar screens.

              To ask here... I have few devices with white screen problem, actualy nokia 2220 and some fuji? camera, and try to understand what is common problem to cause that issue.
              Yes, both devices work everything else probably ok, I mean, I hear intro melody and keypress click sound, DTMF tone, power on off... all ok.
              On desk is nokia 2220 slide, and I check all screen connectors and components arround it, measure voltage drop, but all looks ok. I suspect on slide flex cable, but it look ok and white screen is not interupt while flexing board, pushing conectors, and sliding up down. In attachment...

              Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

              My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

              This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

              Hello all ~

              Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.

              When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.

              I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped...

              Hello esteemed gentlemen. I have owned this LCD TV since 2012. The only repair was the replacement of the PSU a few years ago. Apart from that, no issues. Recently, all was working fine until I switched on to see it appear as so. The day before it was working fine. There is sound. Could this be a T-Con board issue? If not, what could it be? Thank you.

              I got this sharp TV that when I first plugged it in it showed the sharp logo and then went to the input screen. This was about 30 seconds and then it showed white screen. Now I can't see anything but white screen. This has a separate TCON and Main.

              The TCON is getting 12V and several parts are as well but the VGH line is only .5Volts which I thought is totally incorrect.

              Am I on the correct assumption that the TCON is bad somehow if I'm only getting that voltage or is there something else I should check?...
