So just using the G20E 42 & 50 for some clues what eeproms are the same.
42G20E
IC1101 TVRR326
IC4205 TVRR333
IC8921 TVRR329
IC8950 TVRR320
IC9304 TVRR330

So it would appear if you got lucky and found a 42G20E A board, just 1 IC swap.
I can't tell you the best way from here but it would appear looking at he images the Shopjimmy 42 & 50G20B A-boards are physically the same so should be a good basis to convert from.
In the image of the 42G20B, IC8921 is labelled 329 and using the same logic with what we see in the 42 & 50 E region boards IC9304 is the same so safe to assume that's the case there too.
this would mean if you got the 42G20B, leaves potentialy only 3 eeproms to do.
What bugs me is why does the 50" show 921 on ic8921? A little unusual as that is the software and would be the same across the same spec models all G20 series.
That's what I generally see.
So a part of me thinks maybe the 50" board could simply work in your region as it is and a part of me suggests getting the 42G20B which would make the solder work easier leaving just 3 chips.
Note 4 of the 5 are on the back(easy)
1 is under that large card slot ( could be a problem)
the images are of the 42" SHopjimmy board showing the eeproms and an image of what i believe yours is.

So based on that I'm tempted to ignore what's showing on that label in Shopjimmy, could be a stuff up and the 921 refers to the location 8921? seems a coincidence but the manual at leasts suggests what I've seen in the past and that is IC8921 would be the same across the G series in that region.
Roll the dice, pick a board but one 8 pin eeprom swapped and I think you could be in business.

Wow, thanks. Would be an interesting task. You have done some serious digging in the matter.
I´ll see what comes up in regards to the boards. At the moment it works
kind of all the time. When it starts scrolling a simple restart at the unit fixes it and usually works for hours, 1 restart yesterday. The backpanel is restricting air flow due to the small holes. Could be if opened completely it would not restart at all.Comment

If it was my set and planned on keepng it, I'd bank a board for a rainy day.
In fact that 's what i have done for min eover the years. Accumalated evry board spare plus 2 mains, 5 sc,sd,su sets which it's not looking like I'l be needing.
The shitty thing is I never regarded speakers as perishable. They are, mine fell apart, lucky had one set of speakers but should have had at least 2 sets more but never grabbed them.Comment

I jumped on a similar board for the P50gw20,
for a reasonable price. Could not find much info but seems to be very close to mine. Often also referred to as p50gw20e. The difference is, I hope, that it has a secondery dvb-s board. I thought my issue was the SS board but once replaced it still blinks 8 times. However when i remove the SS33 cable of the SS board the Tv blinks 6 times. I think the issue may be the A board and am about to purchase one but would to have a read of the manual to investigate further.
I really hope it is not a filed Panel, out of interest is there a way to text to see if the panel is good before spending money on boards?

have you used search yet to see if there is any history?
Don't get many 8 blinks, can't remember if I've read more than one on this series.
There should be some results tables for results expected with different boards and cables removed in that guide
It does say disconnect ss33 if it still shuts downs check ss, c2 board and A-board connections if good , A-board,
Have a good look at those white ribbons just in case there is corrosion, I had a HD 2010 model give me 8 blinks due to corroded ribbons.
You can disconnect sc2, ss11, p35, and the 3 white ribbons to turn the TV on and see if it errors. It should turn on . If you do this, don't reconnect sc2,ss11 and important not P35 for a good 5-10 mins due to voltage still stored, or get a meter and check those first . Spike p35 and can fry the panel ribbon ICs.Last edited by tw2005; 06-19-2016, 03:20 AM.Comment

When i removed all the above cables the tv did turn on, well the green light came on but the screen was black.
Do you think this now excludes the A board as being the problem? I have replaced the SS board to one i believe is good, so based on the guides you attached most likely failed is 1 SS board, 2 A board and 3 panel! I hope it is not the panel!
Once this has discharged i will have a good look at the cables before plugging them back in.Comment

Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

by chaos-theoryI have a really weird problem, this motherboard was working normally, someday it just started and all fans were running but didn't want to post, tried resetting bios, checking CPU and it was getting warm tried external gpu, flashed bios with programmer, but same problem.
Next day after several attempts the board goes into protection mode, no more staying on, I turn on the PSU fans starts directly turning, it used to not start until I press the pwr button, now it starts directly and fans spins, and shuts off after 3 seconds sometimes less, then won't start again unless I unplug the PSU and... -

I have tried to remove BIOS supervisor password from Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 mk1. Model number CF-33AENABTG, unfortunately I don't have any other info.
I read the BIOS using afuwin, edited it and tried to flash new edited BIOS using afuwin. Unsuccessfully. Afuwin showed "Error: Problem erasing flash." starting with 0x00040000 and stoped. Then I tried many other options to flash BIOS from Windows without any luck. Finally i rebooted the device - and no post. Afterwards I have read the corrupted bios chip (MX25L12873F) using EZP2010 programmer....-
