Bush BMK40 no picture/sound

Hi
Here I am again with my latest project just bought a dead Bush BMK40 LED TV for a tenner easy problem I thought !!!!!!!!!
Opened it up NO board fitted no wonder it was dead
Boards seem to be like rocking horse s*** for this tv but found one on ebay for 15 all i had to go on was bush BMK40
Got the board a TP.SIS231.P83, only board I could find
Fitted the board and not working
First problem the LVDS connector on the board has two rows of 20 pins, connector on the TV has two rows of 15 pins so not sure which pins to use, connector seems to go on any combination of the pins.
However I fitted the connector as in the picture.
When TV is plugged in red led shows on the front, when power switch is pressed red light turns green and backlights come on but no sound on picture
Any ideas lcd looks good

Check if you have any voltage on the TCON fuse.

I would think the red wires on the LVDS cable connect to the fuse on the Tcon board but would need to be verified.

have just moved the LVDS connection down to the bottom ie: the red cables at pin 1 still no voltage at TCON fuse

You need to use your meter set to ohms to find if the red wires go to the Tcon fuse.

Then find out which pin(s) on the main board LVDS connector (disconnected) has the supply voltage.

An ebay picture shows the LVDS connector connected differently on the main board.

ok you are right it is the red wire on the LVDS cable that goes to the TCON fuse.
The fuse on the TCON is marked as 125V / 3A
Have checked all pins on the mainboard connector no voltage at the pins connected to the red cable, several of the pins have small voltages ie 3.6v 2.5v 1.5v but nothing on the pins that would connect to the red wires to the tcon if that makes sense

I would think the board is not compatible,these combine boards are fitted to loads of set running lots of oddball LCD panels.TP.SIS231.P83 is just the board number the white bar code sticker number is the part number and has to be matched to the correct LCD panel used in the set. and as you bought the set with no boards fitted, the fitting of a board from any bush 40" set will be pot luck at best

Trying to find what screen is fitted to this tv, Are you thinking I am wasting my time with this

I think panel will be LSC400HM06 as this runs a T.Con.not sure as to what main board number you need some do not run a T.con at all just a LCD driver on tabs to the screen.unless you can find a board that you know comes from a BMK40 then you will have a job on your hands.will need lots checking on the net to find a match

ok that makes sense, this panel has the driver board on the tabs, but cant find any reference anywhere as to what panel it is

driver board or tcon as some sellers are calling fitted is Y13_MB7S60TS4LV0.3 but still not sure what panel this is, did find a picture of a LSC400HM06 with this driver fitted

Did you ever manage to sort out this TV? I ask as I have one that I am pretty sure is the flash ic that has corrupted. I am after the binary of the flash ic if you have made a copy of it?
