    Re: Samsung UE32F5000 no Backlight

    Hello!

I also had a samsung eu32f5000 led tv with the same problem and I found the wrong LED with multimeter. If you have other pieces of the led strip, could I buy it from you via eBay?

    Thanks!

        Re: Samsung UE32F5000 no Backlight

Assmuming a properly designed driver, (and I assumed this is one as the whole string failed) one can simply short a failed LED. The driver will keep the string current constant, so it doesnt matter if it sees 51 or 49.

And yes, as other poster sugested, using only half of the power is a good thing, but it serves its purpose better on the newer 'flicker free' tv's whose LED's are fed with a DC current.

The older models use PWM, so the devices are always lit at full power, just the duration of which (time on versus time off) is varied.

Also my UE32F5000 have problem with backlight but when i ceck the voltages only +1 gives me 255Volts all the others mVolts measurements i think that maybe the two MOSFETS D3N40 have problem because all the others voltages for the main board is ok also did anyone knows what type is the IC9191?

That is because you have open circuit in the LED string some where, it has no load that is why it went up so high.

Put the LED connector back in place and see what you get. LED strings are connected in series so when you removed the connector you break the circuit for the current to flow.

i have the same problem with my Samsung UE32F5000 TV, on the backlight connector i get the follow volts

                  -1 : 0 V
                  +1 : 195 / 224 V
                  -2 : 0 V
                  +2 : 0 V
                  -3 : 0 V
                  +3 : 0 V
                  -4 : 17V /85 V
                  +4 : 0 V

the power board is bad? Can repair it?

+1 pin is the feeding Boosted Voltage pin to the Anode of first LED string, if there is open circuit in the first string then there will be no Voltage on the rest of the string. The connector on the board is used as the junction point to join all the strings together in series.

I Couldn't remember the PIN order, it's pretty confusing on the LED Driver.
could someone give me a hand ?

                                          Hello budm or flocko

My UE32F5000 led strip died again .... I had on LED left yay, so I replaced it in 15 min
During the repair ... I broke the LCD panel .............. yaaay ...-_-

I'm trying to found it online, but can't seem to find a website that sell it.
I don't know where to find the exact reference.

On the Panel itself I can see this ref : T315HW04

other than that here are some pictures.

                                            Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

                                            Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Hi

Picked up another TV. Samsung UN43NU6950FXZA. No power and no standBy led on. Removed back cover and:
                                            Main fuse = OK
Back light LED = OK. Power them with aux power source
                                            LED output = OK 156V
I do get 12 V DC out of the power supply going to the digital section but no 5V or 3.3V. PS_on voltage is only 1.8V. I have looked everywhere on the PCB , I could not find i reference for 5V output.
Also removed connections to panel, speakers and remote but no luck. One strange thing is that even with the LED power supply working, backlight LED do not turn on...

Hi everyone and thanks in advance for any help I might get here

My Samsung TV is about 4 years old. The exact model number is UE75MU7009TXZG.
About half a year ago I started seeing occasional green frames pop up while watching movies. I mean literally green frames. Not the image turning green, but the entire screen turning green for a split second. This happened maybe once or twice during a 2 hour movie. So no big deal, but clearly something was not quite right.

Since a few days, the TV won't turn...

                                            Hi All,
First time posting here ... my name is Kevin but my friends call me Journey.
I have a Samsung 75" LCD model UN75RU8000FXZA that I don't remember the original fault other than it wouldn't power up anymore.
After it sat for many month's I decide to look at it again. The motherboard seemed to have power regulation issues. After much fussing I decided to just get a new MB.
It came a few days ago and I installed it now just cycles the power relay on and off ... when on the backlights light up and then dim and then relay kicks off and the whole things starts again....
