Hi guys. I have a Sharp LCD tv with vertical lines. I suspect this is a TCON issue since I get lines through the menu when I press the menu button. Is this correct or could it be a main board or panel?

first clean the LVDS connectors between main and Tcon board. Then the cables from Tcon to LCD. See if something changes. -

Disconnect one side of the tcon, check the picture then the same on the other side.Comment

This is the main board issues. Try to reflow the two chips on the main board. Search the threads on this forum.Comment

Did you try heating (hair dryer) or cooling (can of air upside down) the Tcon and the main board while watching the screen?Comment
