Emerson led tv 40" half screen solorized????

Tv Emerson 40 inch....the problem is that it has half screen....at start up Will come on good picture after that with 10 mins of use it gets solorized and from there will be lime 1 to 2 hours and it goes away then comes back...??never see this kiND of problem....

That is sure strange symptom, Reseating the cable between the LCD panel and the T-CON connectors yet? Also check the connectors on the tab bonding boards side too.

It has no t-con board....when I wiggle the lvds cable it turn green the screen showing the background image....

What ever it is it is a strange one, hopefully it will be just bad connections.
So it also uses integrated T-CON into the panel?

This picture is when is at start up and it will take like an 1 hour or 2 it can change sometimes it will doit at start up with the half solorized.

I wonder since the tab bonding is on the bottom side of the screen and people tend to spray the cleaner on the screen so the liquid drips down to the tab bonding and corrode the connections. So did you already try resetting those two small white flat cables?

I already did....I was thinking this can be main board or the tabs...

Remove, clean and reseat them ribbons. I had same issue on Ves390 screen same Cmo panel try that.

Thanks guys...right now I clean and reset the cables on the screen and it is running nice but I'll leave it for a while se what comes...

As of right now is running good it almost 10hrs....I did reset the cables, but what I did I add bit of schot tape I just put on the tip of every connection....

I add this tape so it would do bit of pressure on the connection, I did notice when I reset the 2 small connection at the battom were not tighten enough the small clip. it has to lock down the ribbon that was bit soft.....well that's what I discover and now is working fine....

Good stuff keep us updated, I had the same issue on the same screen but mine was fully solarized. Also they have bullshited about the size of this its a 39" screen.
