Re: Vizio SV472XVT won't turn on

I can access shopjimmy from the UK by using an IP address changing program.
So it does look like the main board.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

So it sounds like the only thing I can do now is replace the main board. Once a new one is installed, will this fix the 24V going to inverter board and 18V/12V going to main board? I don't have a wiring diagram for any of these boards to see if those power circuits are passed through relays that need a switching circuit from the main board.

if you have STBY voltage but no PSon once you try to turn on the TV = You need a new main board.

Re: Vizio SV472XVT won't turn on

Yes I did! After the new power supply board didn't fix it, I ordered a new main board for it. Just swapped that out last night and it's working like a champ! Now I just need to verify the VGA input is working properly as it didn't pop up as a 3rd PC monitor, but that should just be a computer setting. I also noticed some horizontal lines appearing for a fraction of a second on fast motion or quick screen jumps. I believe it is just a de-interlacing issue with the 240hz smooth motion settings, so I'll just keep those turned off.
