LG RZ32LZ55 - Interlacing Problem!!!

This one has me stumped.

The TV is quite a few years old and appears to show what I can only describe as very feint interlacing lines across the screen at about a 10 - 15 degree upward slope L to R.

The problem is that I am unable to photograph them because they don't show up on a photo. I've filmed the screen and when looking carefully at the video the lines are visible, however when converting it from MOV to MP4 to upload to Youtube the interlaced lines are no longer noticeable.

I've inputted signals via the Scarts and also from my PC and the "interlacing" is present regardless of input.

In all other respects the set works fine.

Your thoughts would be welcome.

I repaired quite a few of these weight a tonne for 32" dont they ! Maybe a service menu reset if you have a service remote ?

I can get into the service menu but nowhere can I find a reset.
Getting into the Menu by holding the Menu button on the TV until the Service Menu comes up and can get into a second menu if you then press the remote menu button. Unfortunately I cannot see on either menu an option to reset the set.

Hi ive downloaded and looked in the service manual theres not much info about a factory reset option maybe im missing it?

Unfortunately although I can go into the menu as budm describes there is no reset option available.

Maybe first time install in the normal Tv menu ?

page 14 of the service manual may have some usefull information regarding diffrent menus

I'm using the original remote for the set.

The remote is an LG 6710T00008b

Need to do some further investigating

The one shown on page 14 is called the "Secret Remote" or formally the LG Adjust Remocon Service Remote
