Ok, I have what is most probably the standard problem with these 'beasties'.. namely "Xmas tree wiring" - in other words their dire "one out all out" (series) arrangement !
I am looking at a couple of options to resolve the problem and would appreciate some input as I am sure this has been done before by others on here.....
First question is if I replace the faulty LED on its own (after I have removed the 'mushroom' diffuser) just what type/s of SMD LED would you recommend ? (I assume here it is a 12V LED being over-driven but have no idea of the rest of the spec.) Comments/advice appreciated therefore !
Second question is has anyone re-jigged their panel to some other kind of illumination (for instance 5050 led strips horizontally with a separate PSU or some such) ?
