    Lg 50pa4500

No sound, no video, no clicking. One red LED on main board. No reaction to ON button from remote. It's like it's ON as long as 120 volts is applied to the set. I have all the proper voltages everywhere i.e. 5.2, 17, VS=204.5, VA= 55. I have proper voltage to both sustain boards. C802 on SMPS is not bulging nor deformed, but it is Black in color. I have ordered a replacement for C802.

When I disconnected LVDS and jumped EXT AUTO GEN, I got the correct red, green, blue, horiz and vert test patterns. I take this to mean the main board is the cause of the malady here?

would be interesting to take a good look at the board and see what got replaced etc when you get it back.

PTS Electronics has replaced some ICs and other components and did not like the way the HDMI ports were tracking, so now it is at the BGA machine..
