I dont know what could fix it since the part that left the scorch marks and a little dot of charred substance is the rectangular piece inside the film thst appears metallic, but i guess is the chip itself.

Yes it is. COF = chip on film. That cannot be replaced by anybody on this forum and is definitely not DIY.
