    47MF437B bad diode replacement

So, suddenly the sound and video cut off and the TV started making a chirping noise.

I found some solutions on this board. Replaced some bad capacitors on the power supply, and checked some of the diodes and found a few bad ones.

I managed to find replacements for most of them online, but one of the diodes I can't find. I admittedly know very little about this kind of stuff.

The diode I'm looking for is labeled LT7220-UFI007

    Any help would be appreciated.

Is it a possibility that it reads UF1007 not UFI007? That is a 1000V 1A rectifier diode like 1N4007. very common.

UF1xxx is an Ultra Fast Rectifier Diode.

In what circuit is that diode in... I wonder why it needs to be that fast. I suppose a better match to the UF1007 would be a MUR1100.

Okay, yes. That is the one I was looking for. Don't I feel dumb. Thank you both for the assistance!
