Need Samsung Power Supply Part Identification

In the process of troubleshooting my 55" UN55D6060, I wound up breaking a large green ceramic disk capacitor (or that's what it looks like. The part is in the attached image of a screenshot already on this site.

Can anybody tell me what this is and where I can get another? Please take a look at my attacment and I have any options.

There should be numbers on the cap. See if you can up better pics. I can't blow this one up. It gets too blurry.

Are you talking about the green dick sitting between the Toroidal inductors?
      That is Thermistor.

If this TV has 4 channel edge lit LEDs if this TV is just repeatedly cycling on/off you could have a blown LED which triggers a fault detection and an endless loop of restarts. At least that's what I had on a 55" D series here is Australia.

          Thanks for the responses.

The tv has the two 100 LED right and left strips. The right strip had 1 LED that was broken off, and there are two more burnt out but still on the strip. Read all the posts by mmartell and others and know that is most likely the original problem.

Before figuring that out I wound up busting the green piece in question close to the TV plug in. It does not have any numbers on it and the pic is a copy of another board already on here. Are we sure it's a thermistor..still looking for exact part number...Note my schematic interpretation is nominal at best...(already tried a couple times)...

What is the designator as printed on the board next to that part? TH???
What is the board P/N BN44-?????
Give us the closed up pictures of your board.
Part should have P/N printed on it for sure.

Re: Need Samsung Power Supply Part Identification

Got a couple pics...no numbers on that component...not that i can see. You can see the circle on the motherboard that says "BONDING", with the two broken leads. Those are the leads off the broken green piece which is the same size as the blue ceramic disc capacitor next to it.

Also have pics of the LED that was off right side strip when I pulled the panel apart...the reason for the blank screen I imagine. The other pic is the bottom the same strip, where the 3 black marks are three more burned out LEDs.

              Thanks for the help!

Also, on the previous pics I just posted of the LED strip, there are different shades of the middle where some are much darker than others. Is this a sign of them starting to "burn out"? I ddn't think this was a problem with LEDs. If it is, is there a life expectancy that I should care about when I do get this back together (note the "when" not "if").

Re: Need Samsung Power Supply Part Identification

Well...I just found my answer in another post. This site is amazing...but there is almost too much information. I've spent a couple hours at least on this. Going down another avenue on google it sent me back here to the post from "pokepoke0610; Samsung S64FH Sound but no picture then no power" I'M NOT COMPLAINING THOUGH..Love it.

This part is called out: "The closest inrush current limiter I could find on Digikey appears to be a Cantherm MF72-008D15."

Looks like I'll be ordering that.

Note that I too noticed the cracking of the outer shell and the darker spot on the back side of the board which was the reason I started messing with it and when I pulled it free of the bonding material it fell apart (now I don't feel so dumb...yet).

So it is Thermistor, NTC type.
The broken one is about 15mm Dia.?

Back on the site for another post, and noticed that "budm" had asked about the thermistor on this one. Yes that was the once I ordered.
