I think I have seen one these Psus in another thread with a bad solder joint on the transformers. Check for cracked solder joints.

There are four LED drivers circuits, so check the DCV between chassis GND and the positive leg of each filter caps for the Boost converter circuit to see if they all show the same Voltages.

I was refered to this site from someone at tomsguide

    Here is that thread

    http://www.tomsguide.com/answers/id-...un75f6300.html

Just curious if that bar could be caused by the replaced power board

If it is the led string what are the steps to replace it?

    Thanks

    Samsung 75 LED UN75F6300

My tv just developed a dim area on top of the screen
It is from left to right

TV is under 2 years old and out of warrenty

Recently it would not turn on. Contacted samsung and they agreed to have it repaired but we had to pay labour.

    The power board was replaced

    Now this new issue

Could this be a bad power board?
I have not contacted samsung yet, just wanted to get some info before I call.

We are not very happy with this TV

the tech had the board replaced in about 10 minutes

I dont remember how many cables went to it

But I did take a pic of the board
This was just back in the 1st week of october

    Thank you

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Upgrading a Samsung ue55nu7096u with logic board from an ue55ru7105k -- good idea?
    by ohren
I hope this is the right forum to post in despite not technically being a repair, but still a question of swapping boards.

I thought I'd explore the possibility to upgrade an existing working Samsung ue55nu7096u with the logic board (and power board if needed) of a newer model (ue55ru7105k) of the same size and appearance (and resolution). The reason being I'd like the extra inputs of that board including component in, an extra HDMI port and bluetooth. Its panel is broken so I have no use for the board otherwise.

The models launched in 2018 and 2019 respectively....

Samsung UN55H8000AF - No Picture, Working Backlight, Replaced T-Con Board
    by ermals
    Hi all!
I've recently run into an issue with my Samsung UN55H8000AF LED TV displaying no image. I've done quite a bit of research in terms of what could be wrong with it. Below are the steps I've taken prior to reaching out here for some assistance:

    1. I've tried replacing the T-Con board (BN95-01594A), twice and have still experienced the same issue with all the boards I've tested with.
    2. I've tried to remove one side of the ribbon cable that goes from the T-Con board to the panel and still not getting any image on left or right side.
    3. I've checked voltages...

Help Needed: Samsung UE55MU8000 Dead - Possible Main Board Issue
    by Asraf Atb
    Hi everyone,

Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....
