    service menu RCA RLDED3955A

I replaced some LEDs from the backlight and would like to lower LED current. There is no adjustment in the regular menu. Anyone knows how to get into the service menu?

There is no backlight option in the picture settings? I'm pretty sure this setting will achieve what you are looking for.

The circuit uses the OB3350. Look for several resistors in parallel which are in series with the cathodes of the LEDs (on the PCB). Increasing these resistor values will lower the current.

The reference value in the OB3350 is 300mV, they used resistors of a total of 0.3Ohm so they were passing 1A (!) through the LEDs, I lowered it to 300mA and it still is bright enough.
