I replaced some LEDs from the backlight and would like to lower LED current. There is no adjustment in the regular menu. Anyone knows how to get into the service menu?

There is no backlight option in the picture settings? I'm pretty sure this setting will achieve what you are looking for. -

The circuit uses the OB3350. Look for several resistors in parallel which are in series with the cathodes of the LEDs (on the PCB). Increasing these resistor values will lower the current.
The reference value in the OB3350 is 300mV, they used resistors of a total of 0.3Ohm so they were passing 1A (!) through the LEDs, I lowered it to 300mA and it still is bright enough.Comment

Hi all,
I’m trying to recover a Samsung UE55HU8500L (curved UHD, 4K model from 2014) after replacing the panel. The new panel is a 55A1UU8EH, which produces excellent image quality — very close to the original.
However, since the swap, the TV enters a boot loop (Samsung logo → restart) unless I enter the service menu and perform a reset.
The service mode had been previously modified — possibly by a technician or during the panel swap — and I suspect some key settings are mismatched for the European (Greece) market.

I have just replaced led set of this vestel tv due to age.
I would like to reduce backlight from service mode. I have tried menu 4725 but in the menu i can't change anything.
Any help pls? I don't want to change from electronics inverter feedback resistor ideally.
