An ebay seller is selling the flat flex pcb for an lcd screen which you cant even replace with out runing the screen as its impossible to replace. WTF LOL and for that price

may be useful for fault finding or cannibalising parts I guess but I would not pay that. TVs are pretty cheap these days new.

I do see your point but he states it can repair a screen lol unless you have very very good solder skills there is only one good thing for this as you stated.

You can in fact rebond these using a hot-bar bonding machine and a microscope. It's something very few people would have access to but it is done. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8omWU54NDU

eBay is an open marketplace. Anyone can list anything and it's free for the first 100 items so there's no cost in doing so. I broke my keyboard recently (water damage) and decided to recycle it responsibly after dealing with it:
