    Re: Sharp LC-60LE847U

Q7602 only has 250 volts..Q7801 shows 119 volts DC on center leg. I will retouch solder on xnsformer legs and all three devices on heat sink. then reinstall and check AC-DET pin to make sure I have >3 volts DC.

Will post results shortly after retouching.

        Re: Sharp LC-60LE847U

Q7602 is now 204 volts, Q7601 is 404 volts, I do have the 404 volts at C7800 A &B. I have 3.3 volt steady on pin 13 which is AC-DET. 13 volts is steady now. No blinking lights.. Retouched all legs of xnsformer and FETs.
Still less than 1 volt to LED conductors. No LED voltage.. C7220 A&B have 82 volts across them. C7500 and C7501 have 82 volts as well across them. L7201 A&B have less than 1 volt on all legs to ground.

It needs to receive BL-ON signal form the main board to turn on the backlights circuit.
BTW, you do have 12V_PNL now right?

There are couple of pins on that board that I cannot figure out what they are.

They are STB, and the OFL.
You will need to see if they change state between < 1V and >2V when TV is off and when power switch is activated.

Yes, I believe they should toggle between those tow values when power switch is turned on and off.
BTW, there is no blinking code at all?

The moment of truth. Looks like a tcon problem. First try reseting all the cables on the tcon and reseat.the lvds cables too tcon side and mainboard side as well.

Did you bypass the fault? Sharp TVs like the shutdown in an instance of a fault. If you're bypassing the fault you're seeing the fault now

The ic on the tcon is supposed to get very warm. This is normal to some degree. Hot though? There may be a short. Try a new tcon for starts. Your error code may be thrown by some load down of this board making the power supply go to shut down.

When I pushed my test lead extension wire into the nylon connector to be able to read the voltages of OFL and STB , evidently the pin inside the nylon housing for OFL were not making contact with the conductors on the board. However, I would say that the smps had many questionable solder joints that were high power which were retouched..many of them looked marginal at best. Once retouched, looked great.
