Alba LCD1988OH DF Stuck In standby

Standby light on the front appears but no response from the TV when trying to turn on.

Have changed C807 but still the same. Can't find any schematic for this power board, 17IPS16-3 V2.

Took readings from the pins leading to the mainboard.

Not labelled so from left to right (using the pictures orientation)

    PIN1: 0.00
    PIN2: 0.01
    PIN3: 0.65
    PIN4: 2.21
    PIN5: STARTS AT 1.70 DROPS TO 0.90
    PIN6: 5.29
    PIN7: 0.60

    PIN9: 1.51

Do a 'self test' on Power Board. I think though your problem is Main Board.

ok, got a little further, have no remote for this set so tried using a universal remote but the codes don't work so put it into search mode and heated up the p[ower supply near the caps.

After a few minutes of heating then getting the remote to search I can now power on the tv with the remote but the buttons on the side still can't power on the TV, but can power it off.

      Leaning towards bad caps?

Got to try the buttons again and tried changing channels, got a child lock message on screen, have disabled it in the menu and the power button now turns the tv on

Went into the service menu to see if there was anything obvious and to do a self check.

The hotel mode has a YES next to it but I can't seem to get this remote to turn it off.

I can't get the source button on the side of the TV to work, if i continuily press it it will eventually show the source list, would this be part of hotel mode?

Not sure if this main board is even correct for this TV, in the source list I can see YPBPR, yet the board doesn't have this connectivity.

If I choose FAV from the list I can get COMPOSITE to display, all other inputs works fine too.

I've seen a Youtube video showing that Hotel mode can be used to inhibit a number of functions and may well be set to inhibit the use of the side buttons so as not to have access to change channel, or volume etc.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

Ye i was thinking that but why would it work after "x" tries, unsure why YPBPR is listed as a source.

The TV is faulty with stuck in Standby RED LED. Can't power the TV.

Before this problem , the TV stuck the picture with artefact , i unplug the AC cable and since the tv is stuck in standby .

All voltage are OK on PSU and main board for regulator. I tried flash firmware 25Q64 with many dumps

But the voltage on power button is 0.6V not 3.3V. When i press power button the voltage up to 0V. I tried to add 5V with Power Supply on 5V_STB and 3.3V on Power...

I enclose the psu diagram, after the first routine checks I find myself with a regular standby voltage of 3.3v blue light on steady when the power button is pressed nothing happens, psu disassembled and bench checked ... forced ignition by sending a signal 3 , 3v on the SW and PWM2 pins the psu turns on and delivers all the voltages...

              Samsung UA39EH5003R Stuck on standby
              by Rusenga
Hi techs, I have a Samsung ua39eh5003r which switches on and then goes to standby. I have to wait for a day or two for the tv to switch on again, all the time it is stuck on standby. I have checked the voltages on the power supply board on both occasions when it is on and off and these are my findings:

              Connector CNM803:
              TV ON
              Pin1,3,4,5(Vamp),7(Vamp)- 12.6V; Pin2(PWM_DIM)- 0.96v; Pin6(BLU_ON/OFF)- 4.41v; Pin8,9,10- grnd; Pin11,12,13- 5.16v; Pin14(Power ON/OFF)- 3.3v

              TV OFF
              Pin1,3,4,5(Vamp),7(Vamp)- 12.6V; Pin2(PWM_DIM)- 0.06v; Pin6(BLU_ON/OFF)-...

DeLonghi AC Remote only accepts 3V
              by cstout
Hello all, I've been looking into this portable air conditioner's remote control and can't find what could be causing the problem - or possibly this remote is just terribly designed.

The remote only works at exactly 3V - if I drop it any lower, using my bench power supply, to say, 2.9V then the remote will not flash the display and turn off. I don't have any AAA batteries that are exactly 1.5V each so I'm not sure if this remote is designed this way - to only use the freshest possible batteries, or if there's a failed component in the mix.

              I can't find any schematics...

When the Main board is disconnected, the back lights are off but tapping on the chassis makes them light up and all voltages are then good. Connecting the main board up makes the TV work normally until moved. LED INERFACE STRIP BN41-01971A has a short on the first 2 pins on the left of the picture, the cable tests good. All the other pins and all LED strips test good. Is there an easy way to fix the short or do I need a new interface. Any help would welcome.
