    vizio M470vse power board?

Hello, need some guidance. Tv powers on insignia lights up, backlight comes on. but no picture. These are know for there powerboard failure. Did general voltage check at harness' and should read as labeled, (see pic) Everything at CN101 (upper right) checks good except the 12.5 pins at 7,8,9,&10 were all reading around 7.2v. No abnormal resistance in wire. no burnt anything. Where should i go next?

That is Regulated 12VDC output so it may have bad regulator or something, cannot tell until we can see the pictures of the bottom side of the board.

Sorry about delay. Have been stupid busy. Here is the pic of the reverse side of that power board. The upper right at those batch of resistors, it looks as if it has gotten hot. But they all have tested good.

OK, I traced out the 12VDC power supply section, this 12VDC is generated by the same power transformer T601 which also generates the 24VDC for the inverter board.
So for you to have only 7.2Vdc at the 12Vdc output pins, what DCV do you have on the 24Vdc output pins of the connector CN202? It should be lower than 24VDC also.

Ok My appologise. I used a different DVM and it seems as if 12v on cn101 and 25v on cn202 are good now. I checked again even with another DVM after that and the DCV read good on both connectors. Now it seems as if power board is ok. Double checked grounds and reference 3v all good. HMMMMM?????

Since the power supply is good, post some photos of the main board and the entire back of the set with all the boards connected.

Since you do have backlights but no pictures on the screen, then the next place to look will be the fuse on the T-CON board, you need to find out if you do have either 5VDC or 12VDC on both ends of the fuse with ref. to the chassis GND when TV is turned ON.

Heres the Tcon board. Assuming this is a fuse (maybe) it has 12.5 on both sides of it.
