Hi all, thanks for the help in advance!
I have read and used info from the forum to solve problems with a few TV's over the years, this is my first time posting a question.
I have this Sharp Aquos LC-37D43U that will not show a picture. I have read the other aquos forum posts witht he same model line, LC-xxD43U and they all seem to have a different issue i think.
SYMPTOMS: When the main is attached the green power led lights up and you can turn on the tv with its power button, the white sharp logo will light up like it is supposed to, the screen lights up and shows a picture of whatever input you are sending it for approximately 1 second, then the backlight shuts down and the screen seems black.
DIAGNOSTICS: removed the case and inspected the boards, I cannot find any obvious bad components. Using a multimeter I can find 5v standby, but I am having trouble finding a spot to check the 24v to the inverter boards.
Pics of all boards attached.
I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction as to where the bad board is. I can find several replacements available on ebay, and I have everything I need to replace a cap if I can find out which piece is bad.
Thanks Again!
