Hello All, noob here! I'm working on a Vizio E321VL. The tv turns on and comes up with the Vizio logo and then the back-light goes out after about 1 - 2 seconds. I can put a flashlight to the back and see that the tv is displaying correctly but, like I say, there's no back-lighting. I have checked the connections and resistance on the secondary winding and found there to be some difference between the two. I'm not really sure where to go from here. Bulbs or board trouble-shooting. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Vizio E321VL backlight 2 seconds to black
Thanks for the quick response. I have taken pics of the power(2 pics) and main(2 pics) boards. I got as close as I could to help with identification. I had done a little research regarding this tv and found out that this model's main board is prone to have trouble out of the eeprom at U18. I felt like that could most likely be ruled out since the tv's display is working except for the back-light not staying on more than a couple seconds. However, through research, it was posted that the ic at U21 could cause the same symptoms that I get. Also, each board has a blue led that come on at power-up but, the power board led quickly goes out after the back-light and the main board's led goes off shortly after. I don't know that that is an indicator or anything. Just thought it might be useful to mention. Any thoughts or insight as I continue to research would be greatly appreciated.
