Have a problem, LED Toshiba 50L4300U with Horizontal flickering lines

Hi all, maybe someone could share some light on this problem...had the Tv for a couple years now, the other day the tv started to show horizontal flickering lines...from the top to about the middle of the screen. I have done some google research but basically haven't found anything on this matter other than firmware problem? Tv is updated to latest firmware, and even I have done factory reset from the installation menu the tv still has the same problem. I had also opened the tv and check capacitors, loose wires and haven't been able to notice anything. Have seen post and youtube videos where the screen turn off, but in my case it just flickers for a second or two, deem the screen...will be fine for another 15sec or so and it will do it again... it's annoying.
Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? is it my power board?

Firmware can't cause single pixel lines in my experience.
The flickering on and off has been seen to be a thermal-related LCD panel fault (something heats up, connection goes, it cools down, connection re-made, repeat...)

I see, thank you for the response...so there's no repair for this tv? Sometimes it flicker less when you unplug the tv for a while....but gets worse if lower the backlight

I hate when somebody ask for photos or videos and you upload them and they dont even bother to comment after all that effort.

Was this comment for me? I did comment there's no solution.....basically the flickering is so bad now tv is unwatchable....I'm disappointed at toshiba...and it might not be related but all these problems started after the last firmware upgrade
