Was this comment for me? I did comment there's no solution.....basically the flickering is so bad now tv is unwatchable....I'm disappointed at toshiba...and it might not be related but all these problems started after the last firmware upgrade...

Does anyone know factory reset for toshiba 50l4300u, I mean factory reset that will erase current firmware? Or are there any other way to restore firmware to a previous one. Thanks

I see, thank you for the response...so there's no repair for this tv? Sometimes it flicker less when you unplug the tv for a while....but gets worse if lower the backlight...

But the lines are not visible when the flashing is not happening only when it flickers? was fine before the firmware....but thanks on your input...

Sorry I forgot to add some pictures, here are some unfortunately I am not able to load a video, it logs me out before the video uploading is complete; I had similar problems with the pictures but eventually it worked

Hi all, maybe someone could share some light on this problem...had the Tv for a couple years now, the other day the tv started to show horizontal flickering lines...from the top to about the middle of the screen. I have done some google research but basically haven't found anything on this matter other than firmware problem? Tv is updated to latest firmware, and even I have done factory reset from the installation menu the tv still has the same problem. I had also opened the tv and check capacitors, loose wires and haven't been able to notice anything. Have seen post and youtube videos where the...
