Try removing Pin 17 (Adj = Dim).

Just a heads up. This will get the set working but its not a fix. Sooner or later more led's are going to go bad. I've seen several tv's that were close to catching fire from led failures.

This worked for me after spending money needlessly on a new power supply. Thanks for the info. I would be interested to see if jb14813 's idea of using the other adj pin works.

I just clipped the wire on mine. No more flashing and the picture looks great. Thanks.

Does anyone who has been running it this way for a long time have any feedback?
Is the actual failure the LED's or the logic board?

It has to be a design flaw.

This worked for my tv as well the only side effect I've noticed is that the picture modes don't seem to do much anymore on mine after disconnecting the wire. I also have the 4 pin plug with two adjust and two on/off when I have time I'm going to trying hooking the wire up to the other adj pin and see if that works. I didn't cut the wire either you just pry up the little piece on the plug and slide the wire out

Worked for me as well. Not exact model, but damn near close. Massive flickering like a strobe, even power saver mode mentioned on one youtube couldn't save it. Just slowed it down. Cut adj wire and all good. Mine had a 4 pin connector but only 2 wires. One was led off/on other adj. The other 2 pins were off/on as well as adj just not used.. So im assuming the psu is used in multiple sets. I did notice some burning on the psu like it got hot, but tv is running fine. I love this place!

Re: RCA TV LED32B30RQ Flashing Screen

Could it be a mainboard issue with it suddenly jacking the voltage way up and almost forcing the failure of the LED's then cutting that wire locks the output current all the way up, dropping the voltage waaaaay down, causing the LED's to not open up due to the lower voltage which means less heat?

This message is for ogad80, budm, and especially my new Hilo friend hawaiianeye. Thanks for helping me fix my RCA for free! On my tv, it was not the red wire, but the gray wire next to it that I disconnected and voila! Aloha from Aiea!

I found the same TV By my Apt. Dumpster. I will go and disconnect the wire as shown in the pictures. I was just wondering does it have any side effects ? i meant Power board getting hot or something else.

    thank you,

Just to clarify, the grey with red tracer wire gets cut. I unplugged both thinking that was what you meant by disconnect, nothing happened. After trying a new pwr supply and nothing to loose I cut the wire and it works.

    Thanks for the info

Dell G3 15 3500 - Battery bug (black screen and flashing keyboard backlight)

    Hello,

YouTube video of the problem encountered: https://youtube.com/shorts/q7TLNv36LUo

I am a pro and I have a problem that I have never seen despite my 7.5 years of experience on my own and my thousands of repairs, on a customer's Dell G3 15 3500.

On this PC I have already changed the complete palmrest because the keyboard was no longer working properly.

I also changed the screen because the PC fell and the screen was broken.

I changed the battery with a new and original battery.

I also had corrosion/oxidation on the...

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
    by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

HP Elitebook Screen blank - backlights but no image
    by dicky96
    Hi guys
I'm trying to fix this laptop screen

Basically the owner is a computer shop and they brought it to me with two screens. They said the repair shop they use could not fix it, so I thought i would try to see if I am better than their current repairer!

OK so I have the original screen which works but has lines across the bottom quarter of the screen

I have the replacement screen, which they fitted and it worked. They then put the laptop on one side for a couple of weeks until they found a buyer. When they showed it to the buyer, the screen would...

Macbook Air M2 A2681 Kernel panics after screen replacement
    by reformatt
Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".

It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...
