Proscan 50" PLCD5091A-B Shows start up screen then shuts off.

Ok when you first turn it on it shows the Proscan start up screen and then shuts off and the blue led on light goes red. It will do this 3 times then you have to hit the power button and it starts all over.

Now the transformer in the picture that I did a close up also makes a buzzing noise while the screen is on.

Anyone have any ideas? Could it just be that transformer is bad?

Any help is appreciated.

More likely the PSU tbh,

Tested the outputs of the PSU?

If the PSU stands for Power Supply then yes I have. Everything is right on till it shuts off. The only thing that did not quite add up was the larger cap on the mother board was not getting to 450V like it should more like 360 to 380V so I replaced it with new and getting the same reading.

450v is max rated. the reading you get are correct for the PFC.

Ok have you tried forcing the PSU on without the main connected?

Ok I just found time to look at it tonight. Can you give me an idea what I need to do to turn it on manually as in which connections to jump if possible.
