Can you please show us the pictures of the black sockets on the board and how it connected to the CCFL ends?

Yes, I'll post pics when I get back into it. Basically, each black socket is a female part the snaps down over a male plug. There are three plastic clips holding the inverter and the white plastic shield beneath it to the panel. You squeeze the heads on the three plastic clips and the entire assembly lifts off of the panel.
