Proscan plded3992a-c flickering screen

Tv will power on but when i turn on the no signal comes on cause i dont have any connection hooked up to it, but it just continues to flash like goes on and off, this thing only has 1 board so its either this board or panel?

Can you give more explanation of the fault?

What flashes on and off? The picture? The backlight? Everything (including power LED)? How fast does it flash (eg: how many seconds between each flash)?

The picture and backlight. The TV led stays on though

The power led does not flicker just the screen. It stays on and the backlight flashes like every second

Im thinking it proly has bad leds

Is there anything written on the board next to the connector that has the two white\red ribbon cables coming out of it? It looks like that might power the backlights?
