    Wharfedale LTF42K1CB Screen problem

Hi, i have a wharfedale LTF42K1CB LCD tv, it's powering up fine after a power board replacement but now i can turn it on i've noticed some strange drip like markings at the top of the screen, thay seem to grow slightly as the tv warms.
After removing the plastic casing from the front i notice there are some tiny squares along the top edge (about six of them) on a copper strip around the screen, the drip markings seem to come from these.
They are almost unnoticeable on light picture, on black they show as white outlines of the drips and on mid green's red's etc they appear dark, i've put a picture on if this is any help but it's quite hard to take a photo of, thanks in advance if anyone knows what they are or if they can be fixed

Seen these before on other panels, Though can't remember what exactly was the cause but sure remember they are a panel fault

Thanks for the reply (newtothis). I managed to get the front glass panel off the tv, i thought it might be fault with the back light or polarizing film but these seem fine. Its definitely the front glass panel (LCD part), seems like its splitting apart or something.

If you check where the faults are they probably coincide with the screws that clamp the frame together

otherwise on the motherboard it displays edp and I don't know, do the panels I tried only work with the LVDS protocol?

          LCD TV Green/Pink screen problem
          by jimjoe123
I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.

Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.

          Then each time...

Sony KD-55XG9505 lines on screen problem
          by Chrissygizmo
          Hello again everyone,

This is my latest mission, to try getting this Sony tv back to normal working order…

I've only just got it today, when you power it up everything is as should be, in fact it works perfectly for a few minutes then the screen starts getting horizontal lines on & eventually the full screen goes back, I will upload photos of the problem & also some photos of the board etc. You might notice that I'm busy trying the tape method, I'm not sure exactly where the clock lines are so I'm just guessing & hoping for the best lol . I've already tried...

Macbook Air M2 A2681 Kernel panics after screen replacement
          by reformatt
Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".

It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...

iphone XS turns off when press on screen.
          by smic717394
          Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...
