    42ln5400 dead.

I have the above mentioned lg tv
It was completely dead. I removed back and replaced fuse on main board. Now I get red light when on standby. When taking out of standby it flashes 2 times and goes out, no backlight nothing.
    Any ideas

Put the mainboard in the oven for for 10-15 mins.
    Remove then heat gun it.

    Ghetto reflow.

if the fuse was blown, probably something else is also blown. Look over the board for burnt\damaged components.

Fitted new psu. No change. Refitted old psu.
Stripped screen and found 2 duff led. Repaired the leds and got back light working but found I have sound and backlight but nothing on lcd. 12v to tcon.
Ordered a tcon as there cheap enough but wondered if it's more likely to be a main board fault?

          Any advise welcome
