Ve looks way too high... Are you sure it's that high? Can you adjust it to 120-140V range?

I'm confused with 10 blink SD card replacement. Never heard of a 10 blink being a buffer. Was the Sd shorted?

yes the SD had shorts on a few of those connectors to ribbons.
this GT30 was 7 blink, i also have a GT25 thread, sorry to be so confusing.

gonna check Ve again and see if it is adjustable.

Ok so if 7 blink you may have time to edit the first post from 10 to 7. I'll hop in the back seat and see what Tom unearths for you

Re: Panasonic TC-P50GT30 screen washed out

My bad I meant 7 for this device. I am working on three , a gt25 10 blinks, this gt30 originally 7 blink replaced the SD buffer and it powered on.
Third is the vt50 that we have resolved.
Sorry to be so scattered I really appreciate all your help tw

i'm am getting somewhere, the set clicked off, 8 blinks, disconnected SS53 and tv powered up blk screen, then i shut it off, reconnected SS53, and found continuity at SS53 pin 1 and 2, also at ZA102-ZA105 and ZA102-ZA106 points to SS as you guys suspected.
I ordered one for $25, and I will be back....

TPVE should be 165V on the 50"

I'm not entirely convinced SS is the issue, could still be on the SC side of things especially since the buffer was shorted, maybe Sc is wounded. I have a feeling we've seen something like this before, just can't remember what model to find it in a search

Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

Hi all, I’ve got a problem I hope someone can help me fixi.
I have a Panasonic TX-48CX350B tv , it powers up ok but the screen is blank, the backlights are working, there’s nothing else though, no picture or sound. I’m not sure what the fault is called whether it’s BLANK/ BLACK/ or WHITE SCREEN I’ve actually came across this before on a similar tv but just ended up scrapping it, I will upload pictures of the boards etc , if anyone could help me I would really appreciate it...

                                          Hello,

Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

                                          Model number is TH-50PZ85U

Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

I also hear a few clicks.

I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...

                                          Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...

Panasonic Plasma screen interference on left half of screen
                                          by Zelek11
My Panasonic Plasma model P55VT50 has started displaying "interference" on just the left half of the screen only (left when facing the screen). Sometimes it's concentrated in about the first 30 seconds after startup, then disappears. Other times it's fine at startup and then randomly does it later on. When it flashes the interference it's very quick and doesn't stay on the screen unless it flashes repeatedly in a row.

This image is a screen shot from a video I took. This is an example of the interference at its worst. Often the interference is much smaller...
