Re: looking for a source for a Diode for P65VT60 SC card
thanks for the suggestion, on the 6 transistors and this diode, there was a short on all three combos of legs.
1 to 2, 2 to 3 and 3 to 1, all shorts...
looking for a source for a Diode for P65VT60 SC card
Hello,
I am attempting to repair the SC card in a P65VT60.
I have found the transistors on ebay, but there is an elusive diode on the board that is shorted out that I can't find without waiting 5 weeks for a CHina delivery.
The diode is:
RFUH20T3S diode D401 on the board.
I believe it is
D16401
panasonic part # B0FBCN000012
even though I have looked extensively, I am open to suggestions.
It's used in a handful of other panasonics.
thanks,

hahaha, i tried, but couldn't find the PCM setting last night!
i have a ZT card due by tmr, so I am hoping that will help. If not i will be back to the drawing board.
thanks all
Oh ok, I have the setting on auto detect to determine if ext speakers are connected. And in the bluetooth setting I have "All" selected for both bluetooth and normal simultaneously
Hi budwich
for internal sound source there is a flowery test page you access from self-test,
it notes you should see a picture and hear music. (no audio)
Also somewhat internal, NETFLIX and Youtube
for external input, I tried the RCA jacks for AV input from a DVD player. (no audio)
also each HDMI input from cable box output.
There isn't any hardware between the "A" board and the speakers.
And this is a replacement "A" board, it did not get...
thanks,
yes the speakers are connected properly
And when they are disconnected, oddly, i do not get a 12 blink error code.
I will reset to factory tonight, and go from there.
And i had a speaker from a VT50, and that had no sound either, when i substitued it in, so it is probably the main board...
Hi Moreno83, thanks again for all the attention.
I did not restore to factory defaults yet, I am worried that I will lose any calibration the OP had set.
I guess I could copy the settings down first, that's what I'll do, Thanks!...
bluetooth sound does work.and there is a setting to choose bluetooth audio only or all, it was set on BT, but even when set to "All" no sound from internal speakers, not from DVD, HDMI, youtube.
It is as if it is hard coded to "bluetooth " audio only.
The VT card does have all 9 of the picture choices , 2 THX modes.
Thanks Moreno83, I did update the software, but I can also try to reset to defaults.
i will also try to output via headphones, external speakers, and blutooth...
Hi, I am jumping in this thread having seen this TV.
As the OP noted, the TV was zapped by a power surge, the A board was fried.
He replaced the A board with the board for the p65vt60 and spliced the fan connections into the 6 pin jack. The fans work, picture is good, but there is no audio. I updated the software, and still no audio, the audio select is set to auto. Could there be another setting I am missing? Would anyone know if the card for the VT (TNPH1043UC) can be compatible with the ZT audio system. The correct...
