I have an LG 32LD450-UA TV.
Problem: When powering on the red light turns to blue which eventually turns to blinking red. No picture, no sound.
What I have tried:
I have checked caps on the p/s board. All were good.
Checked fuses and diodes on p/s board. All good.
Regardless, I ordered a p/s board from reputable dealer who tested it before shipping and provides warranty. I replaced the p/s board and problem still occurs.
Now convinced that the p/s board is good, I ordered a main board. Different dealer but same criteria. They tested before shipping and warranty the product. (These boards are hard to find. (p.n. EBU60849302). I replaced the main board and problem STILL OCCURS.
Now I am at a loss of what to do next. I am an electrical engineer but not real versed in trouble shooting skills. However, If necessary I can set up p/s board on bench and using proper techniques, verify the output voltages. But I believe it to be good so should I be checking elsewhere? Any help and suggestions are appreciated! Thanks
