    40PFL3705D/F7 blurry screen

Hello. I was at my local recycling center this past weekend and they had a 40PFL3705D/F7 with a cracked panel. I had an empty chassis with a good panel already so I took it home and removed all the parts from the cracked one and put it in the good one I had. The panel sticker numbers were the same.

The issue is when I hook any video up, the screen gets blurry including the menu. I have tried it on HDMI and coaxial and it is the same result on either one. If I have it on an input that is not hooked up and bring up the menu up it is perfectly fine.

So I am going with a main board issue but this set has 2 seperate ones. There is a seperate main board for HDMI and another board for the rest. I am not sure which one I need to replace. I am leaning towards the digital main. Any advice would be appreciated.

So I replaced the digital main and there was no change. Should I replace the analog main or does anyone have another suggestion?

Does this TV have 120Hz motion option? Tried turning that off?

Ended up replacing the Frc CBA board to correct the problem.

Glad to hear. That board is responsible for 120Hz conversion.

Board inbetween main board & T-con board which handles conversion of 60Hz video into 120Hz by adding in-between frames. Say it sees a football on one frame and then it's moved on another... it works by guessing where the football was in between... usually it looks a bit rubbish to me but some people like it.

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
                  by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

Macbook Air M2 A2681 Kernel panics after screen replacement
                  by reformatt
Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".

It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...

iphone XS turns off when press on screen.
                  by smic717394
                  Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...

This laptop has dots that show up once on the windows login screen. The bios menu and windows loading phase doesn't have them.

                  What I have tried:
change screens but it's not a screen issue as they show on internal and external display.
                  Changed SSD and Windows
                  Wrote a new bios
Inspected if there is anything unusual on the board, none

Has someone seen this before, what could be the issue...

                  Samsung UE55JU6800K half screen dark
                  by Chrissygizmo
Hello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same...
