Hi, thank you for your help. Your site has been very helpfull for me since now.

Dual tuner (antenna/cable) When i connect antenna i get a perfect image.
HDMI input works perfectly too.

When i connect the cable module to the cable entry i get noise in the image or more vertical line of noise. I get the same problem when using the cable module in the antenna connection.

Try that cable box on another TV.

Also, have you tried a different coax cable at the cable entry?

Disconnected the cable from my TV which was fine and connect direct to this one. Problem is the same at customers house. So not a bad cable or cable box. thanks for the suggestions!

You tried a different cable, but did you hook up the cable box to a different TV? Did you verify you don't have any RF leaks up the pole on the splitter? Pretty easy to find with a TDA and spectrum analyzer.

I've had the same issue on several on these and the 26" versions. The fault was evident also on composite input and the VGA input. I suggest trying those inputs as well. I never did resolve the issue as the customer never wanted to spend any money on replacement board. I have a suspicion it is related to the analog section of the main boards

Thank you guys, yes the cable box was hooked up on my personal TV and working great before doing the test on the defective tv.
I appreciate your input Nicholas1110, i will try other inputs as mentionned. i'll let you know...
