I have a Samsung LN32A450C1DXZA with lines and duplicate images.
A side issue I had was that I powered on the TV when it had been left out and condensation formed on it. There was a short from a jumper to a capacitor (this seems to be a common problem with this power supply. I saw one in worse shape on another forum.) I fixed the damaged jumper and the TV still powers on. I was planning on replacing the bulged capacitors but now I dont know if it is worth it.
I opened up the panel and pushed on the flex ribbon cables but nothing changed. I am reading 11.75V at the T-CON board coming in from the main board. Is this too low for the T-Con board?
Considering there is about a 1" strip on the very bottom of the TV that works correctly, it makes me think that the panel is the one that is bad since I don't see how a bad T-Con board can only fail on part of the image.
