What did you use for the GND ref for the meter?
When making Voltage measurement in the primary (hot) side of the circuit, you CANNOT use the chassis GND as thge GND ref for your meter.
The negative leg of the main filter cap the GND ref. for the primary side circuit.
For checking the main AC voltage, you will check Line and Neutral.
How about the pictures of the whole back side of the TV?
We also need good clear pictures of the bottom side of the power supply board.
What AC Voltage do you get at the two inner pins of the bridge rectifier?
Was TV worked on by someone else before you? Any history of the TV?

Fuses and the inner pins of the rectifier = 67.8v (using the negative leg of the capacitor).
No history on this tv, sorry.

AC primary on the Bridge, you measure right at the two inner legs of the Bridge.
Primary circuit AFTER bridge you will use the negative leg of the main filter cap.

Driving a Sharp TCON/panel with a universal main board
              by advant
This thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.

I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match...

Sharp Aquos LC-70C6400U Half Screen Dark
              by scubacamper
I found another post on this site the other day which has been very helpful in troubleshooting this issue I am having with my tv. The left half of the screen is dark, and the other half is VERY slow to generate it's image - and it only generates part of its image at that.
Based on this yt video, I have narrowed it down to an issue (short?) on the left side of the display, somewhere in the system of ribbon cables.
when I remove the bezel and the rear cover, I can get the image to display correctly by manipulating the ribbon cables on the left side which connects the left lower display...

Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?
              by cheeky2
I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...

Sharp Aquos LC-40UG7252E LCD TV burn in?
              by jonah1024
              Hello!

I'm a few days old into this TV screens repair universe so please bear with me.

Recently, and all of a sudden my 40” 4K Sharp Aquos LCD TV turned on with colors all smudged in some places on the screen that remain like that even without any kind of video source. I do have image but the colors are smudged/tinted/ washed out in patches as per defects. This to me looks similar to burn in but I’m shore this is not an OLED.

              - I did the classic unplug and hold power button to discharge the caps but it didn't help.
              - I did a factory reset as well...
