    No good just doing the faulty one , you need to do the whole lot , even if they are not all faulty !

      registered to say thanks for the info, my toshiba backlight died and it was the connector between the 2 bottom led strips! Weird thing though - when i reassembled it, the backlight came on but no image, nothing. Left it overnight as I couldnt be arsed to open it up again, and next day its fine! whats that all about? Some error state that the logic board went into when the led power failed, didnt clear, but did after a certain time??

        Lose connection probably on the Lvds cable.

          yeah loose cable is what i was expecting to have to look for today. This is the first tv ive tried to fix but ive dealt with quite a few laptop screens and its not much different. can the connector seat itself somehow? i noticed the connectors had no tape holding them in, which laptop connectors always do.

            Not normally no they have little secure snaps to hold em down. I have never seen any fail with that type of connector and repairs over 200 vestels. You might just not have seated it properly.

              Hi,i read forum and didn't found soliution how to fix light inventer,in my case my mineboard 17pw07-2 feed inventer with 24v ok,but voltage going from inventer to ligt strip is same 24v,how i cnow it should be 35v,can anybody help where i should start looking to sort this problem.Thanks
