I have a Samsung LN46C60351FXZA that is about 4 years old. One morning I turned it on and it was working fine. About 10 minutes later, the screen went black, but the audio was still there. The TV powers on and the audio works. I can change the source of the tv and the audio stops until i change it back. There is just no picture. I have opened the TV up and all of the capacitors look fine. Any help would be great.

Re: Samsung LN46C60351FXZA No Picture
Do you see a picture if you shine a flashlight at the screen? Also, are you sure you've correctly noted the model number?Last edited by capkid; 12-27-2014, 01:10 PM.Comment

Re: Samsung LN46C60351FXZA No Picture
The model number is not the same as what you posted in the thread's title. This particular model is known for having PSU/inverter issues. I'd start by checking PSU output voltages. Also, I'll wait for a definitive response as to whether an image is visible when a flashlight is shined at the screen.Comment

Anyway, an iPhone light should be bright enough.

by DodgethisHello all,
This is my first post, but long term lurker on the form learning as much as possible about these TV's. I was given this TV as due to a power outage of constant On/off of power to TV. The TV originally would just click on and off (Typical Reboot Cycle). I opened the back of the TV, and troubleshooted by taking the 96 pin LVDS off one at a time to see if I had a picture on either side. I finally fixed the reboot cycle by finding the error on the left side of the screen off connector CN 1301, and the TV would stay on. Further troubleshooting led me to the driver boards where...5 Photos -
by YellowJacketHi friends,
a friend of mine gave me this TV to fix, with common SAMSUNG TV issue - damaged panel. Turning on, sound is present, but no picture. So I went directly to standard process, connecting two pads together with a wire ( see in the picture ), and then removing flex cables. With right flex connected, there was half screen working, but still no picture ( disappearing colors and similar weird stuff ) + working sound. With left flex connected, TV is restarting + working sound. I supposed, left side is damaged, so I then blocked all 8 CLK pins ( going from 0R resistors on the second... -
by DobsukHi guys, i am dealing with one Samsung 50TU8000K which was without picture - just was resetting itself constantly. Saw some videos and read some post about simmilar issue and the advise was to try to tape cut off method and started to put tape on some of the pins on this ribbon cable:
And then i had picture but with lanes. Tried different pins and combination but could not managed to make it work without any lanes so far. Will keep playing with it though.
The weird thing is that i tried it again without any tape on the pins and now i have picture with just few lanes... - Loading...
